The case against members of the Jewish anti-Nazi boycott committee collapsed completely today for lack of evidence.
Resulting from a secret complaint brought more than a year ago by a group of Latvian Jews who failed to observe the boycott, the case had called forth considerable attention. The leaders of the boycott committee were accused of blackmailing the non-observers of the boycott by making them pay a certain sum to help defray the committee’s expenses, or their names would be published on a black-list.
