Charging that the American Jewish Congress is “dominated by capitalistic elements and is not opposed to Fascism as such,” the Joint Counn## Knitgoods Workers Union of the American Federation of Labor expresses agreement with the action of the Labor Committee on Jewish Affairs in refusing to collaborate with the Congress’ attempt to form a “so-called united front of all classes of Jewish people as a way of fighting Fascism and anti-Semitism,” it was announced Friday by the executive office of the Council.
A real movement against racial oppression must be “primarily a workers’ international movement,” the Council contends in upholding the Labor Committee in its stand.
