The Zionist office has announced today that it expects shortly to renew collections for the Jewish National Fund and the Palestine Foundation Fund, discontinued for weeks as result of an order prohibiting such collections without special permits.
According to the announcement, the expectation is based on information that the Minister of Interior had wired instructions to the local authorities permitting resumption of the collections. Activity will be resumed, it was stated, upon receipt of written confirmation of the instructions which is expected soon.
