Municipal Court Justice Abraham Harawitz died Friday at his home in the Broadway Central Hotel after a brief illness. He was 56.
Brought to the United States from Russia at the age of 7, he was a member of the State Assembly in 1906 and 1907 and in 1927 he was elected to the Municipal Court bench, defeating Justice Jacob Panken.
