Magnes, American-born president of the Hebrew University in Jerusalem, has cabled to President Roosevelt offering his services in America’s fight against the Axis, it was disclosed here today. The day after Japan’s attack on Pearl Harbor Dr. Magnes cabled the White House: “I and my three sons put ourselves in your service and at your disposal.”
