A strong plea to allocate land in the vicinity of Hebron for the settlement of the former Jewish inhabitants of Hebron is contained in a third petition just submitted insisting that the government is responsible for the disaster and demanding full compensation for lives, honor and property, and long term loans such as the government gave to the Beersheba Bedouins during the drought.
