Jews Named to Communal Councils Without Consent of Jewish Bodies

Jews who were nominated as representatives for the communal councils in various Roumanian towns, were named without consulting the local Jewish bodies, the Roumanian parliament was informed by Deputy Michael Landau. In Bucharest, however, Rabbi Alperin was nominated with the consent of the Jewish community.
