Jacob Fishman, veteran U.S. Zionist and Yiddish newspaperman was buried today in the Basle Jewish Cemetery. He died here suddenly on Saturday at the age of 68.
Preceding the burial, funeral services were held in the Mustermesse Hall, where the Zionist Congress is meeting, with prominent leaders of the movement in attendance. David Ben Gurion, Israel Goldstein, Meir Weisgal, Gershon Agronsky and Gedalia Bublick were among those who delivered eulogies.
