Dr. Aldo Sorani, Italian Jewish literary authority, was appointed Italian cultural representative in Palestine today. He will attempt to popularize the Italian language and literature in the Holy Land. Four teachers, three for Tel Aviv and one for Haifa, will work under Dr. Sorani.
The new representative is a descendant of a family which has excelled in scholarship. He has been active in Jewish life, particularly in the Zionist movement.
