Israel’s struggle for world recognition of its rights to economic survival and physical security is not over, Mrs. Golda Meir, Foreign Minister, declared here today following her arrival from the United States.

The Foreign Minister asserted that “the nation had achieved great honor through its stand” and added that the “status quo ante cannot return–the blockade against Israeli free navigation will be discontinued and the Egyptians will not return to Gaza. The nations which pressed Israel so hard, especially the United States, will be responsible that the status quo ante does not return,” Mrs. Meir said. In the party which met her at the airport were the American and French Ambassadors.
