Israel’s first experimental shipment of oranges and lemons to this country came through its long sea voyage from Haifa in good condition and has passed inspection by U.S. Department of Agriculture plant quarantine officials, it was announced today by the Israel Office of Information. The 5,000 cases of oranges and lemons, the first such shipment from the area since 1921, will be released for sale in time for Passover use.
