Israeli prosecutors asked a Jerusalem court to give the maximum possible to Shas leader Aryeh Deri, who was convicted last week of bribery, fraud and breach of trust. During the Thursday hearing, prosecutor Yehoshua Reznick presented the court with previous rulings in which civil servants were sentenced from three to five years for such offenses as bribery and fraud.
