Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu rejected opposition calls to evacuate Jewish settlers from Hebron after a rabbi was murdered in his home last week by a suspected Palestinian intruder. The premier also criticized distinctions being made by Palestinian officials between the murders of settlers and other Israelis. “The blood of Jews cannot be spilled with impunity, whether the people live in Tel Aviv, Jerusalem or Hebron,” said Netanyahu.
