Israeli Minister Resigns from Tel Aviv Municipal Council

David Pinkas, Minister for Communications, last night resigned his post on the Tel Aviv municipal council, after 20 years service on that body. Minister Pinkas, who resigned because he found that holding both jobs involved too much work, was replaced on the council by Moshe Magid, treasurer of the Israeli Mizrachi Organization.
