An Israeli farmer died Sunday of injuries suffered when his tractor struck a mine in a field near Gesher, about 150 yards from the Jordan River demarcation line. He had been plowing. The explosive was identified as a Mark IV anti-vehicle mine.
A curfew was imposed yesterday on the Gaza Strip village of Beth Lahiya after the second incident of sabotage in two days. A water station at Yad Mordecai was damaged by an explosion Saturday night. Last night high explosives were detonated on a road passing through the village. A search was under way for the saboteurs.
