Israel plans to airlift poultry and milk products to Europe to alleviate the current shortage in those goods caused by a food contamination scandal in Belgium. The announcement by Israel’s Agriculture Ministry came after countries around the world imposed bans on European food products in reaction to the discovery that the carcinogen dioxin had contaminated some Belgian farm products.
