Mr. Henderson is now chairman of the board of editors of the Research Institute of America.
The record sum of $4,914,819 has been raised to date in the New York area for refugee relief work, overseas needs and assistance to Palestine, it was announced at the gathering by Sylvan Gotshal, president of the United Jewish Appeal of Greater New York.
