Funeral services were held here yesterday for Henry Minskoff, a leading builder and a founder of the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, who died Monday at Memorial Hospital at the age 73.
He and two brothers took over the real-estate firm started by their father and built office buildings, apartment houses and shopping centers throughout the New York area and in Baltimore, Philadelphia and Detroit.
The Minskoff family recently built the 10-story Sam and Esther Minskoff Cultural Center and Park East Day school as an adjunct to the Park East synagogue of which Henry Minskoff was a trustee. He was president and chairman of the United Home for Aged Hebrews in New Rochelle, N.Y. and a former director of the Lexington School for the Deaf, an agency of the New York Federation of Jewish Philanthropies.
