A Jewish tombstone dating back to the eighth century has been discovered in the Chinese People’s Republic, according to a report in the Warsaw Folkstimme. The directorate-of the historical museum in Peking has sent a copy of the inscription on the tombstone–which is in Hebrew–to archaeologists in Israel.
