Hamilton Fish, who has been linked with isolationist forces, is injecting an anti-Semitic note into his campaign for re-election as Representative of the 29th Congressional District in New York, according to a story appearing today in the New York Post.
The Post says that in a statement made at his headquarters last Monday, Fish expressed confidence that he would carry every town in his district with the exception of Fallsburgh “because it is 90 percent a certain people.” Ninety percent of the residents of Fallsburg are Jewish. The town takes in six small summer resort communities.
