Hamas vowed to resume terrorist attacks against Israel. To mark the 16th anniversary of the group’s founding, tens of thousands of Palestinians participated in a series of Gaza Strip rallies against efforts to make peace with Israel. The demonstrations came days after the failure of efforts to convince Palestinian factions to agree to a cease-fire. Hamas bombers “will continue to blow up in the depth of the Zionist entity,” Hamas official Abdel Aziz Rantissi told a cheering crowd in the Jabalya refugee camp, according to Reuters.
