The first Jewish monthly paper ever published by the Jewish community of Guatemala made its debut. The paper called “El Macabao” is printed in Spanish and is designed to stimulate the interest of the 1, 500 Jews in Guatemala in Jewish and Israeli affairs as well as in local community projects and fund-raising drives.
