A group of 234 Israel-bound Jewish immigrants who were scheduled to sail last night aboard the Israel transport S.S. Eilat from the port of Constanza, on the Black Sea, were held up when it was learned the vessel had been damaged in a Mediterranean storm and had been forced to put in at Istanbul for repairs. The Israel legation here was busy today seeking other means of transportation for the immigrants.
