A second warning against individual anti-Jewish acts of terrorism was issued last night by Propaganda Minister Paul Joseph Goebbels.
Addressing an audience of 15,000 Nazis in Halle, Goebbels repeated the admonition delivered by him in Berlin Monday, warning individuals to abstain “from solving the Jewish problem according to their own opinion.”
Admitting openly that there is a shortage of certain foodstuffs in Germany, Goebbels emphasized that Germany needs its foreign exchange for importing more raw materials.
The German press today played up this speech even more than the news of the war in Ethiopa, because of the internal importance of Goebbels’ remarks.
