“gentleman’s Agreement,” Film on Anti-semitism, Voted Best Motion Picture of 1947

“Gentleman’s Agreement,” a film dealing with anti-Semitism, was yesterday voted the best English-speaking film of 1947 by the New York Film Critics. The motion picture, based on the best-selling novel of the same name by Laura Hobson, was directed by Elia Kazan.
