Gedaliah Bublick, well-known Yiddish writer and Mizrachi leader, died here late last night at a meeting of the Rabbinical Council of America. He suffered an attack in the middle of an address to the group. He was 73 years old.
Born in Grodno, Russia, he led a group of 200 Jewish families at the turn of the century to Moiseville, Argentina, where he served as a teacher in the Jewish Colonization Association schools. He came to New York four years later, joining the staff of the defunct Yiddish daily, Tageblatt. Later he became a member of the editorial staff of the Jewish Morning Journal, to which he was a regular contributor. He was also one of the founders of the American Jewish Congress.
