The first Jew to return to Hebron to live since the massacre there last August will go back on Sunday. This Jew is Dr. Daniel Elkana who is returning at the request of his former neighbors who guarantee his safety. Dr. Elkana’s landlord, who saved Elkana and his family during the massacre and with whom he lived during the riots, is among the petitioners asking the return of the physician.
