A former vice president of the extreme right-wing National Democratic Party (NPD) — Franz Florian Winter–claimed in a book published today that the party was financed by sources in South Africa. Mr. Winter quit the party long ago. His book is titled “I Believe in the NPD.” The party’s chairman in Bavaria, Benno Hermann, said Herr Winter’s statement was completely untrue.
