The Cabinet is reconsidering to-day the draft bill for providing student rights at the Austrian Universities, in consequence of a demand put by the Christian Socialist Parliamentary Party, which is the strongest Party in the Government Coalition and the Royalist People’s Party has protested to the Prime Minister against the enactment of a law granting student rights which would bar from these rights any Austrian citizen, whatever his faith or racial origin.
