A gift of $225, 000 for the building of a student-faculty lounge at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine has been made by Max L. Friedman and the Max L. and Sadie Friedman Foundation of New York City, according to an announcement today by Dr. Samuel Belkin, president of Yeshiva University. The gift is part of the $25, 000, 000 development fund program of the college.
M. Friedman, a retired businessman, has been a member of the Board of the United Jewish Appeal, Joint Distribution Committee, and Hias, for many years, and actively associated with the Federation of Jewish Philanthropies. He is a founder of the Albert Einstein College of Medicine and a member of its Board of Overseers.
