Eaward Weinfeld was sworn in yesterday as a Federal Judge here to succeed Judge Simon H. Rifkind, well-known Zionist figure and former Adviser on Jewish Affairs to the U.S. High Commander in Germany who recently resigned from the Federal bench. Senator Herbert H. Lehman had recommended Judge Weinfeld’s appointment to President Truman.
