Dr. Yechiel Jacob Weinberg, a leading rabbinical authority and former rector of the Orthodox Rabbinical Seminary in Berlin, was buried in Jerusalem today. President Shazar attended the funeral.
Dr. Weinberg, who had written many books on theological, philosophical and Talmudic themes, died in Lausanne Monday night at the age of 82. His body was flown to Jerusalem where he had hundreds of pupils for the funeral.
