Funeral arrangements were being made today for Dr. Charles E. Shulman, rabbi of the Riverdale Temple in the Bronx, and author of books and numerous articles on Jewish topics, who died here yesterday at the age of 67. Rabbi Shulman was ordained by the Hebrew Union College in Cincinnati in 1927 and held a doctor of laws degree from Ohio Northern University. He was a former president of the Chicago Rabbinical Association, a member of the executive of the New York Board of Rabbis, the national administrative committee of the American Jewish Congress and the religious advisory committee of the B’nai B’rith Anti-Defamation League, Rabbi Shulman was also chairman of the editorial board of the American Zionist Magazine, organ of the Zionist Organization of America, and a member of the editorial board of The Reconstructionist Magazine.
