Diplomatic efforts should be intensified to resolve the Kosovo crisis, Nobel laureate Elie Wiesel said Tuesday. He made the comment after witnessing what he described as the “almost unbearable suffering” of Kosovar refugees at a camp in Macedonia. Sent by President Clinton as a special envoy to the camps, Wiesel spoke with refugees about their families, their homes and their hopes.
