Great Britain and the Near East, semi-official publication of the Colonial Office, will deny in tomorrow’s issue that recent outbreaks in Palestine are due to Italian intrigues, as has been alleged in some quarters.

The magazine will point out that Palestine’s “waters were always potentially muddy,” making superfluous the suggestion that the disorders resulted from extraneous causes.
