Security forces today demolished the house of a 24-year-old Arab in the village of Yoata near Hebron, who has admitted murdering a yeshiva student in Hebron last Jan. 31.
The security forces said that Ibrahim Abu Ali claimed he was acting alone when he gunned down Yehoshua Saloma, 23, as he was walking through the Hebron marketplace. Saloma, originally from Denmark, was a student at the Yeshivat Hesed in Kiryat Arab, where he combined Torch study with serving on military patrols.
Abu Ali said that he took a bus home after shooting Saloma twice in the head. He denied any connection with the massacre six weeks later of six yeshiva students in Hebron.
