The World Zionist Congress which closed in Lucerne recently was praised as one of the most representative and unified congresses in the history of Zionism by a number of delegates who arrived on the Berengaria yesterday.
Morris Margolies, secretary of the Zionist Organization of America, called it “the most historic gathering of world Jewry since the first Zionist Congress.” Others who arrived were Rabbi Abba Hillel Silver of Cleveland, vice-president of the Z.O.A.; Leo Wolfson, Joseph Kraemer and Jacob Epstein, Baltimore philanthropist.
