An immigration bill which would change the definition of “totalitarian party” in existing legislation to facilitate the admission of Nazis and Fascists has been approved by the House Judiciary Committee. The bill, sponsored by Rep. Francis E. Walter, contains other features opposed by major Jewish organizations although it does include a few liberalizing revisions.
