Congregation Leaders Set Dec. 7 As “federation Sabbath”

Leaders of Jewish congregations decided to set aside December 7 as “Federation Sabbath” at a meeting held today in Trotzky’s Restaurant, 165 West 35th St., by the Federation for the Support of Jewish Philanthropic Societies. The day will be devoted to appeals for support of the Federation’s $2,636,000 drive for its 91 affiliated institutions.
