The second general conference of Polish Zionists will be opened here on Sunday. About 300 delegates representing 150,000 shekel payers are expected to participate in the conference.
Particular importance is attached to the proceedings of this meeting in view of the problems to be considered in connection with the political situation within the Club of Jewish Deputies and the Zionist Party Council.
Three groups contested in the elections in Warsaw of delegates to the conference. The Gruenbaum group, Al Ha’mishmar, gained 9 delegates; the Levite-Gottlieb group, Eth Livnoth, 7; and the Zionist Revisionists, 2. Stormy election meetings were held in many towns throughout Poland.
