Arthur Much, 69, one of the witnesses in the mass murder trial of 12 former Nazis charged with murdering more than 35,000 Jews in Minsk during World War II, testified today that a Jewess was hanged in front of the Minsk SS headquarters after all Minsk Jews had been forced to assemble to watch the execution.

A. Wedekind, a former Criminal Investigation Department inspector, testified on what was meant by “tightened-up hearings” in the Minsk Ghetto. He said this referred to the most gruesome beatings of Jewish prisoners.
