An estimated $1,146,000 should be available for distribution to beneficiaries of the Cincinnati Jewish Welfare Fund for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 1964, Robert D. Stern, campaign chairman, told the JNF board of directors at its meeting today.
“Based on careful and conservative evaluation of cards still outstanding, we expect to top last year’s total of $1,128,503 by approximately $17,500, Mr. Stern added. He noted that the estimates were given at this time to enable the budget review committees to begin work now on the anticipated programs and needs of JWF’s beneficiaries.
