Jewish organizations still had hopes today that Chile would admit 68 German-Jewish reuees who were on board the Italian liner Conte Grande after having been refused admission to Uruguay, Bolivia and the Argentine. The liner left this port yesterday, with its cargo of refugees destined to be returned to Germany unless they are permitted to land at Rio de Janeiro.
