Gannon College, a Catholic institution here, has announced the establishment of the Rabbi Abraham B. Shoulson International Relations Award in honor of Rabbi Shoulson of this city who heads the Department of Hebrew and Middle East Studies at Gannon College, the only such department in a Catholic institution in America. The award will be presented annually to a senior at the school who excelled in international relations in both school and extra-curricular work.

The award was established on the rabbi’s 10th anniversary of service to the Jewish community here and his fifth year at the college, where he also heads the Department of Extension and Adult Education Activities, Present at the ceremony were Jewish, Protestant and Catholic clergymen.
