The settling of Jewish refugees in Western Canada has been started by the Canadian National Railways.
The first group of Jewish farmers to be settled by the railways, left for Canada to settle on large tracts in British Columbia, which is now being colonized by the railways. The group consists of sixteen Jews who have had farming experience. They come from Siberia and other parts of the Far East. It was declared here that if the first group is successful a larger group of Jewish farmers will emigrate to Canada. Each farmer is required to invest four hundred dollars.
