Jews in Canada will observe the world-wide Day of Mourning tomorrow with prayers in the synagogues, with mass-meetings protesting the Nazi massacres of European Jewry and with a fifteen-minute stoppage of work. The Canadian Jewish Congress, in call to the Jewish population, urged Jewish business men to close their shops and factories at 11 A.M. The Jewish press in Canada urged the Jews throughout the country to refrain from going to theatres tomorrow and suggested that arrangements for private entertainments be cancelled.
