Camille Hoffman, Czech-Jewish poet and Counciller of the Czechoslovak Legation in Berlin until the entrance of the German, Army into Prague, was killed by the Gestapo, together with his wife in the notorious Oswiecim camp, it was learned here today. Hoffman was a close friend of the late President Masaryk and President Benes, and was an intimate friend of Dr. Theodore Herzl. He was sixty-six years old when executed in the Oswiecim gas chambers.
