A new 186-bed pavilion was dedicated yesterday by Maimonides Hospital in Brooklyn, bringing the total capacity of the hospital to 580 beds.
The $4,100,000 addition, which was partially financed by the Federation of Jewish Philan-thropies and a grant from the United States Department of Health. Education and Welfare, includes general care beds as well as replacement of former maternity and pediatric beds elsewhere. It is named the Hortense and Jacob Aron Pavilion.
