London police detectives and explosives experts completed their investigation today into reports that an “elite” group of British National Socialists had been testing bombs for use in a terror campaign and immediately launched a hunt for the bombers.
A Senior Police official said: “If these explosives are what we think they are, they could cause catastrophe in an enclosed space and in a crowded room, they could kill.”
The Daily Mail had reported previously that one of its reporters watched nine of the neo-Nazis in a forest hideout in Britain celebrate the 30th anniversary of the seizure of power by Hitler with ceremonies that included a series of bomb tests. Colin Jordan, the leader of the small but violently anti-Semitic group, is in Jail on two terms involving incitement against Jews and violation of the British Public Order Act.
