In a book on “Nazis at War,” just published here, the Austrian Jewish refugee writer Willi Frischauer warns Jews not to support Otto Strasser’s “Black Front” movement.
The book charges that Strasser’s movement is financed by sale of bonds, issued in two series marked A and J, which will be redeemed shortly after the movement has seized power in Germany. According to Frischauer, one of the bond salesmen told him that series A was being sold only to “Aryans”, while series J was sold exclusively to Jews.
“Jewish men of money who may feel tempted,” Frischauer writes, “will probably have sufficient acumen to realize why this strange distinction has been made.”
(Strasser, formerly an associate of Adolf Hitler, is now living in Paris from where he is reportedly directing anti-Nazi activities both inside and outside of the Reich.)
